Principal attorney

Danna Cannavino

Danna Cannavino is the Co-President of Cannavino & Stroud, APC.  She specializes in designing and implementing personalized Estate Plans and ancillaries, including Trusts, Pour Over Wills, Advance Health Care Directives, and Power of Attorneys. Danna is passionate about establishing long term connections with her clientele in order to provide the best service for their ongoing estate needs.

After several years as a criminal prosecutor with the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, Danna switched career paths and began her Estate Planning practice. She is a member of Wealth Counsel and the California State Bar. She is a philanthropy organizer for Teen Volunteers in Action and a former Board Member at Dana Middle School.

Danna earned her Juris Doctorate from University of San Diego in 2007 and was admitted to the California State Bar that same year.  She graduated from University of California at Los Angeles in 2000, with a B.A. in Political Science.

Danna is a San Diego native and lives in Point Loma.  She enjoys family time with her husband, Chris, and her two kids, Liam and Zoe. When they are not shuttling the kids between music, sporting events, or playdates, they enjoy taking trips to Arizona for Spring Training, fishing in Montana, and relaxing in Lake Tahoe with their extended family.

Principal Attorney

Danielle Stroud

Danielle Stroud, Esq. is a 2005 graduate from Chicago-Kent, College of Law-IIT. She earned a B.A. in Government at University of Redlands, where she competed as a NCAA swimmer and water polo player. Danielle completed her first year of law school at University of San Diego, School of Law before transferring to Chicago-Kent.

Prior to founding Cannavino & Stroud, APC, Danielle spent over seven years serving as a criminal prosecutor in San Diego. Her legal experience also includes practicing antitrust, consumer protection, and complex commercial litigation.

Danielle lives in Point Loma, California with her husband, daughter and two sons. She is an active member on their elementary school foundation’s board and regularly volunteers with the Girl Scouts. She enjoys running, travel, and spending time with her family.

Danielle is a member of the California State Bar and Wealth Counsel.
